Publicity

- Review Copies:

- BookSpot Central is interested in reviewing all manner of books, graphic novels, and DVDS. Please contact us for address information to send us items for review. If you are an author it is more than likely we are in contact with your publisher or even your publicist but a nudge to us to query them about your books is most welcome. We are always interested in hearing from new people and talking about hosting projects.

We do not review self-published books, however we are interested in self-published comics and graphic novels. A review is not guaranteed just because a book is sent to us, we are sent dozens of books every month. We are always interested in adding to our pool of other media opportunities like DVDs.

BookSpot Central has relationships with essentially ever publisher of note, including but not limited to Random House (which includes branches like Del Rey and Bantam), Tor, Orbit, Orbit UK, Pan Macmillan, Simon and Schuster, Wizards of the Coast, Night Shade Books, Prime Books, Small Beer Press, ACE, Penguin, Transworld (Bantam UK), PS Publishing, Humdrumming Books, Golden Gryphon Press, Pocket Books, DAW, AIO, Tachyon, PYR, Solaris Books, The Black Library, Baen, Overlook Press, MonkeyBrain Books, Norilana Books, Five Senses Press, Soft Skull press, St. Martin’s Press, and Bleak House Press.

We also receive DVD’S to review from Studio like Disney, 2oth Century Fox and Dreamworks.

BookSpot central has hosted exclusive excerpts from books by publishers like Del Rey, Bantam, Tor, Orbit, Gollancz, Night Shade Books, Pan Macmillan, Prime Books, Solaris Books, PS Publishing, Humdrumming Books, Sense Five Press, Norilana Books, AIO, Tachyon, Pocket Books, The Black Library, Monkey Brain Books, Soft Skull Press and more!  We want to publish any and all excerpts from legitimate publishers.

- Contests:

BookSpot Central hosts several contest every month for our readers. Often times these are books signed by the author.  We welcome all queries in this regard and are more than happy to host such contests from all legitimate sources.

We have hosted contests for the majority publishers noted above under ‘Reviews‘. We constantly have 4-6 active contests under way on any given day. Visit our Contest Page to see what’s active now.

Advertising

If somebody is interested in reviewing for us, drop us a line for more information. We supply the books you review, often times well before they are available to the public. If you just saw a new movie and want a venue to host a review let us know.

- Articles/Columns:

We’d love to host choice articles.  Please contact us if you have one that you think would be one of interest.  We’d like them to be exclusive, but will consider material previously published in print. We are especially interested in convention reports of any kind and any critical pieces.

BookSpot Central is also interested in anybody who wants to start a column - pitch us an idea, we’d love to hear it!
